I have often been in that area and that monitoring is needed. So always pay attention to your belongings!!
Cap d’Agde is a large naturist campsite for mass tourism. Very popular, especially for a German FKK holiday.
Large places, neatly arranged in streets. There is a small shop selling bread and cakes. Within walking distance you find a large shopping center.
The beach with its beautiful terraces is magnificent. Everything revolves around the beach. Also organizes the campsite creative activities, sports and excursions. Tennis, fitness, wellness.
There is a mini club, a club and a sunny- espace – club for children and young people. And yes there is even a skate park.
Besides the beautiful, large plots they rent mobile homes and chalets in all shapes and sizes. They are also for sale. You already have a mobile home for €19,900. So a cottage in Cap d’Agde on the Mediterranean is now possible.
Cap d’Agde is a top campsite, for couples, singles and families.
This is a real family campsite, beautiful beachfront and therefore very suitable as a single parent to spend a holiday.
This naturist campsite is well known, there is an atmosphere of sex and eroticism. In high season we have not noticed it. However, there is an erotic atmosphere. Are you okay to eroticism than choose for the month of September, there is a lot of activity. Read about nudest nudists and nudists and sex and swingers.
I know Cap d’Agde for a long time. Must say that the level is significantly deteriorated. Especially in the high season it is so busy that you will go away. Occasionally to the town, please bring a bike with you. Trips in high season you almost forget to do. You will pass the roundabouts difficulty. Remains that the camp has so much to offer that you will not get hungry.
The surroundings are beautiful, special and very fun to explore. Look not too much at all the fairs, where the whole Languedoc is stuffed. It’s just part of the tradition.
Have you taken the bike or go rent one, then go to Agde, with its terraces on the river Hérault and the Canal du Midi. Along the sea to the characteristic city Sète, an suitable outlet on the Mediterranean Sea to eat fish. And the other side on the ferry to Valras Plage. You can feel and see the environment very well. Other trips are to the ancient cities Montpellier and Nîmes.
The Papal city Avignon, where from 1305 to 1378, the Popes lived in this enclave. And the roman city of Arles, where Vincent van Gogh lived for a while. Here he made his beautiful painting Pork-Butcher’s shop seen from a window. An oil painting reproduction of Van Gogh’s painting is for sale.
For the rest we just went out to explore. We drove to a place where we never had heard about and it was almost always with the Mediterranean atmosphere and vineyards. The Languedoc at its best.
If you like going to the Mediterranean Centre Hélio Marin Cap d’Agde it is the right choice. But the costs are high.
